The cable infrastructure is the foundation of a modern information system, designed to handle the current volume requirements, yet sufficiently flexible to accommodate the inevitable changes from enterprise restructuring. As voice, video and data have converged, there is little tolerance for faulty data cabling. In order to ensure that a network will run properly, the cable must be installed professionally, tested and labeled. By adhering to these principles, Promedia has been able to successfully build its Cabling Division.
Promedia deploys certified technicians with over 15 years of experience. The division is staffed with experienced technicians from IBEW locals 164, 269, 351, 400 and 456 providing structured cabling solutions for data, voice, security cameras, and access control. These services are run over a combination of fiber, copper and category 5, 5e, 6, coaxial and 18 gage cables. This fully equipped division provides consultation for IT directors, consultants and architects and is the vendor of choice for many schools, municipal courts, and state agencies in New Jersey. Promedia’s Cabling Division works with some high profile state agencies including the New Jersey State Police, the Meadowlands Complex and Monmouth Park.
